The 31-year-old socialite - who filed for divorce from husband Kris Humphries in October after just 72 days of marriage - is keen to affirm her faith further by reading the Christian holy book in a formal setting.
Writing on her twitter page, she said: "On my way to church with the girls! I want to start a bible study group with my friends! (sic)"
Meanwhile, in the season two finale of her reality show 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' last night (29.01.12), Kim admitted she found it particularly "hard" to split from Kris as he possessed the "Christian" qualities she finds so important in a man.
She said: "It's hard for me. He has a good heart, he's a Christian - everything on paper I want in someone, but for some reason, my heart isn't connecting."
However, it has been claimed the brunette beauty's new efforts in the field of religion are being made in an attempt to bag a date with NFL star Tim Tebow, who is a devout Christian.
An insider told National Enquirer magazine: "Kim has a big crush on Tim. She says he's not only very handsome but seems like a guy with really strong values."

Reconnecting with God is always the right things to do to disconnect from self destructive habits. Hopefully reading the bible will give her insight and will convict her from negative habits that she possess.
