Russell Brand Refuses Katy Perry's Money

Russell Brand is refusing to take one cent of Katy Perry's money in their divorce.
Russell Brand is legally entitled to $20 million of Katy Perry's fortune, but according to a report by TMZ, he doesn't want it.

The UK comedian's lawyer filed final divorce papers this week, and the split should become official by June.

Russell and Katy were only married for 14 months, but because they had no pre-nup, they're each entitled to exactly 50 per cent of their total assets.

Obviously both stars are doing pretty well for themselves, but Katy was the one bringing in the seriously big bucks (about $44 million last year).

Russell is legally allowed to take half of that, but he's chosen to walk away with just the money he earned during the marriage.

“This divorce is as amicable as it gets,” a source tells TMZ, “and Russell was a mensch [Yiddish for a good person].”

That's messed up bruh (haha). I'm just glad this is going well. When you take money out of someone's pocket, they're gonna be pissed. Broad rob me in court, she better just hide, because I'm not going to be in the mood to hug or kiss next time I see her.
