Whitney Houston memorabilia from The Bodyguard will be auctioned off to benefit Whitney Houston's estate.
One of Whitney Houston’s dresses, and her Bodyguard earrings, are set to go under the hammer. The floor length black velvet dress is valued at $1,000 but is expected to sell for much more at an auction in Los Angeles next month.Jacked from Rumor Fix
A vest that she also wore in The Bodyguard is valued at $400, while the earrings could sell for me than $600. Houston fans can bid on the items at the Julien’s Auctions’ “Hollywood Legends” sale on March 31 and April 1.
“For people who are fans of Whitney Houston and never would have had a chance to meet her and never got to talk to her, these are items that literally touched a part of her life. They are a way to relate to her or be a part of her life without having known her,” a spokesmen for the auction house says.

I think its creepy how we sell dead people's stuff or stuff they have used. I don't know, I just find it sick. I know you can't take it with you but it's just how I feel. Can someone explain why graverobbing is illegal but this isnt ? I mean like outside of the "I stole it vs I bought it" argument.
@9:11 I feel that way also I would never even go to a garage sale because I'm thinking that the stuff is that of a dead person (how would I know )

Go to Estate Sales, most of the items are cheaper, and the owner only went to a Nursing Home.
Damn that was quick. Are they broke? Does the "estate" (i.e. Bobbi Kris) need money?
Damn, she was really near broke and killed herself over it! I guess being broke would have humiliated her. What a shame.
