Clay Aiken slams Rihanna for her pitch problems on an episode of 'Watch What Happens Live'.
Clay Aiken appeared on Tuesday night’s episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live’ on which he had some choice words about Rihanna.
Under pressure in the show’s Plead the Fifth segment, the 33 year old was asked: “What current pop singer do you think wouldn’t make it past the first round of ‘American Idol?’”
The ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ star and former ‘AI’ contestant thought for a minute and said there were “too many of them,” and added, “I stopped listening to them because they can’t sing.”
Instead of pleading the fifth, Aiken answered host Andy Cohen’s question with: “Rihanna has some pitch problems, for sure.” Ouch.
Aiken was a guest on the half-hour show along with Jenna Jameson and Robin Byrd. He not only shared his thoughts on Rihanna, but he also played “Marry, Screw, Kill” with ‘American Idol’ stars Ryan Seacrest, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson, and admitted to having minor plastic surgery.
Hey, you have to give the guy credit for not avoiding the questions and pleading the fifth. Aiken is currently on this season’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ and just released his latest album, ‘Steadfast,’ on March 26.

I know this post is past old, but the sheer foolishness deserves some acknowledgement.
A. Because he's gay, it has ANYTHING do with his opinion... so much so that it makes him jealous? If it was a straight man you wouldn't have the homophobic slurs to go off of, but you'd still attack a straight man just for honestly answering the question, how?
B. HE'S TELLING THE DAMN TRUTH! It's not even an opinion at this point. The girl cannot sing at all and therefore...
C. "so if you not the best at something you cant came money of it now?" Nobody has to be the best but you should be COMPETENT! If somebody is making millions and being celebrated worldwide they should at LEAST be good at what they do. The whole purpose of the entertainment industry is (supposed to be) about displaying people with skills that set them apart from the ordinary. She has none. She isn't mediocre, her live vocals aren't even a zero, they're like -5. People like that should not be in such exalted positions. Even still, if her attitude was a little nicer maybe it wouldn't be so easy for people like him to be honest... but why are people like you all so damn enamored... allowing this chick to continue?
