Kris Humphries claims Kim Kardashian swindled him out of the money they earned from their wedding.
He claims he is not interested in money and simply wants a wedding annulment.Jacked from The Daily Mail
But Kris Humphries is reportedly raging that he was 'swindled' of the money he earned from the allowing his wedding to Kim Kardashian to become a media circus.
It emerged yesterday he is seeking $7 million from Kim Kardashian to avoid a public divorce trial.
According to TMZ, the couple opened a joint account where they deposited all the money they made from the wedding and other ventures.
And while insiders say Kris did in fact get money for selling wedding photos and appearing on the Kardashian reality show, all the money went into the joint account but he never got his hands on it.
Confusingly, Kris would have as much access to the money as Kim, but sources close to the basketball journeyman say he has never attempted to withdraw any of it.
Sources close to the New York Nets player say he is in fact not interested in the money, and simply wants an annulment, though this will be difficult as he will have to prove the marriage was fraudulent.
However this flies in the face of reports the NBA player gave his estranged wife an ultimatum-- pay up or endure a public trial.
According to the TMZ's sources, Humphries made the demand through his Minnesota-based lawyer Lee Hutton.
And the website said he has no problem with the accuracy of that report.
It is also said the Kardashian camp immediately rejected Humphries' ultimatum.
There were also rumours that the 27-year-old New Jersey Nets player would be representing himself if the case goes to the trial.
But his representatives say those reports are simply not true.
Humphries was hoping to hire a Minnesota lawyer to handle his divorce case in court.
But California law requires a local lawyer to assist, so Kris was forced to hire a Los Angeles lawyer.
Then, the L.A. lawyer withdrew, leading to reports that Humphries would be representing himself.
But a source told Hollywood Life that those report were completely false.
'He’s simply in the process of changing his L.A. -based attorney. And, his Minnesota-based lawyer, Lee Hutton, will still be the lead attorney anyway in court,' the source told the site.
Kardashian, 31, and Humphries were married last August in a lavish ceremony that was broadcast on the E! cable network.
The reality TV star announced she was filing for divorce less than three months later citing 'irreconcilable differences.'
The pair is said to have a prenuptial agreement, and, sources tell TMZ, Humphries made $1 million from the wedding and TV special as well as $250-300,000 from his time on the Kardashians' reality shows.
Humphries is seeking an annulment to the marriage instead of a divorce, citing 'fraud.'
Yesterday, he reportedly hired Los Angeles-based attorney, Marshall Waller, to represent him in court.
The Mail Online has contacted Waller for further details, but so far he was not responded.

Kris...Spill all the tea please
come on kris spill it!
Have no fear. If the bitch momanager continues to be what she is (greedy hoe)Khris will spill tea because he's finally found his balls.
He should have hired an attorney that works in California that would know Cali law like that back of his hand. Also if a joint account was opened then he has as much right as her to go to the account and withdrawal his part of the money. I realize he's trying to play hard ball but he needs to get what he can and cut his losses.
