The NBA star, who has his own E! reality series with wife Khloe Kardashian, is said to have become disillusioned by having the couple's private life documented on TV and wants to end the show - a decision which Kardashian apparently does not support.
According to HollywoodLife.com, the pair's relationship has become strained by Kardashian's desire to continue with the series and the attention it brings despite Odom's wishes.
"The whole reason Khloe has become so popular is because of her marriage to Lamar. She obviously doesn't want Lamar to be unhappy, but she knows that all the drama makes for good TV. Fame is Khloe's number one priority," a source told the website.
"All this fame stuff is taking a huge toll on Khloe's relationship with Lamar... It's really unfortunate because at the beginning, Lamar and Khloe were so close. However, Lamar isn't just married to Khloe. He is married to the entire Kardashian empire!"
The insider went on to say that Odom has felt overwhelmed by the amount of attention that he and Kardashian have received from the show, adding: "Lamar never thought that being part of the reality show would have such a huge impact on his life.
"At the beginning, Lamar thought it would actually be fun to part of the show. But when he got let go from Lakers, he realized that the show was nothing but a distraction.
"The show started taking a toll on Lamar and Khloe's relationship when he got traded. It was kind of a wake-up call for Lamar. He's scared about his future and his career."

He's not about to do shit other than what khloebakka tells him to. How you gonna be a black man living in the us and consider not playing in turkey because of some shit that happened there over 100 years ago cause your spouse has an issue (this was a story line in the show). Lamars only family is the kartrashians. He won't do anything to jeopardize that.
