Kelly Preston doesn't want to stop breastfeeding her son. The actress has 16-month-old Benjamin with husband John Travolta, and although the time will soon come to wean him onto a fully solid diet, she will miss the closeness of feeding him herself. 'When I stop, it’s going to be really hard on me,' she told America's People magazine. 'I love nursing so much. 'I love the closeness and knowing that I’m giving him the best as far as nutrients and antibodies. And he really loves it, too.' Kelly, 49, said Benjamin shares her and John's bed, and that she nurses him in the night and up to five times a day. She added: 'He’ll come up and point and go, "Mama, more." It’s so cute!' Although Preston may be breastfeeding for longer than the average celebrity, her continuance to feed Ben this way is perfectly healthy. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends 'exclusive breastfeeding is recommended up to 6 months of age, with continued breastfeeding along with appropriate complementary foods up to two years of age or beyond'. we had this situation like 2 weeks ago when that hippie who used to play blossom was doing the same shit, except she was worse than that. I said then that experts say that when it goes on that long that its usually due to self gratification on the mother's behalf. this only proves it. its not about nutrients and antibiotics, thats really done at 6 months. you just nasty!
if you really cared about his health then you would get a fucking breast pump cause a toddler got way more sucking action than an infant and at this point you just like the way it feels!

I breastfeed my son till he was a year old and there is nothing nasty about that. In most parts of the world, especially in underdeveloped nations babies are breast fed to survive. That chick from Blossom is insane and needs to be locked up for child abuse.

It's sad that we have women on here claiming it's disgusting to breastfeed a 16 month old who is rightfully still considered a baby. It's insane to me, if they knew of all the harmful ingredients found in formula such as corn syrup and gmo soybeans or even the blood, pus and hormones food in cows milk.

Have any of you nursed a baby or even HAD a baby?!?!? The American Pediatric Association recommends 6 months to a year... I nursed my oldest 13 months and weaned my youngest at 16 months. NOTHING WRONG WITH IT and yes you feel a closeness and miss it... Grow up people
AND people you can NOT nurse if you did not have a baby... you all need to pay closer attention in health class if you even went or currently go...
