Marc Anthony is the first to pull the plug on his marriage with Jennifer Lopez.

The singer cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for divorce. In the papers, filed April 9 in L.A. County Superior Court, Marc is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple's 4-year-old twins, Emme and Max.
Marc does not list a specific date of separation, but the couple announced their split back in July. The couple married back in 2004. This will be Jennifer's third divorce and Marc's second.
He wants each party to foot the bill for their own attorney's fees.
Despite their differences, Marc and Jennifer have been appearing on the reality TV competition"Q'Viva The Chosen."
