Britney Spears was paid a reported $14 million to be a judge on X-Factor but insiders don't see it for for the pop princess.
Britney Spears noshed, appeared distracted, and even took unexplained breaks as contestants sang their hearts out during “The X Factor” auditions in Austin, Texas.
The pop princess-turned-talent-show-judge looked fabulous in a hot pink mini-dress and even started strong, jotting down notes and offering encouraging insights to the wannabes vying for a $5 million prize and a recording contract.
But the bleached blonde couldn’t do it again, and appeared to lose interest halfway through the Friday-afternoon taping, getting up twice to take breaks while her fellow judges voted without her, and finally ditching her pen and notebook as she mindlessly dined on finger food.
After she botched the pronunciation of a contestant’s name, Spears, a 30-year-old mom of two, tried to recover by telling the 12-year-old he was “hot.”Jacked from The NY Post

Like any other industry a white person can be hired for a job they're not qualified for where as a black person has to show some sort of proof of experience, perfect job references, and perfect job history to get the same job. Britney is still under guardianship meaning she's not allowed to have responsibility over many aspects of her own life but you give someone in this state 15 million to do a job she's probably not mentally qualified to take on right now?
I predict the ratings will start out strong, then fizzle out. What a waste of $15 million.
I don't think Simon Cowell knows wtf he's doing. X-factor UK and US are both a mess. He seems to target hot messes for hosts.

I was kinda hoping Brit would cinch this job. I really wanted to see her doing something productive and being good at it. Oh well.
