After her husband, rock star Joel Madden, began displaying erratic behavior on the set of his new show, Nicole Richie rushed down to Australia to set him right again.

Nicole Richie to the rescue! The busy mom of two and Fashion Star mentor rushed to husband Joel Madden's side, according to an insider, after learning of his erratic behavior while judging the Australian version of The Voice.
Signs of trouble were especially clear on May 14, when his bizarre antics forced the show's reps to deny that he was intoxicated. In addition to making inappropriate comments to performers, "Joel was waving his hands around and looking wild-eyed," says the insider.
"The network claimed he was just nervous, but this is a rock star who's used to playing in front of thousands of fans."
Now Nicole is working hard to keep her mate in line by scheduling plenty of outings with daughter Harlow, 4, and son Sparrow,2.
"Joel swings between acting like a single man and partying without Nicole to wanting her beside him all the time," another source tells Star.

i just wrote about how proud I was of Nicole how she managed to turn her life around and display a positive life style. I am sure it is hard trying to maintain sobriety on a daily basis especially in the media. I hope Joel stays strong.
yeah having kids seems to agree with her and turned her life around. i'm proud of her. i just wish she'd stop saying she's black just because her ADOPTED FATHER is.
Nicole is BLACK she has a couple of things going on my friends niece looks just like her with green eyes and she is black dutch and jamaican and looks white with blond hair. Nicoles aunt Shiela E. is is what Puerto Rican and something. Does it really matter anyway? The nerve....... good thing ppl dont always get what they wish for.
