Ola Ray has finally settled her case against Michael Jackson's estate for royalties from the Thriller video.
The executors of Michael Jackson's estate have settled a royalty battle with the former Playboy model who starred in his iconic Thriller video, according to a report.
Ola Ray, who played Jackson's girlfriend in the groundbreaking promo, filed a lawsuit against the King of Pop shortly before he died in 2009, claiming she was still owed unpaid royalties stemming from her appearance in the video.
Her lawyer insisted she was owed a "substantial sum", claiming the copyright value of the Thriller video is worth millions - and Tmz.com reported on Thursday (10May12) that estate chiefs have reached a settlement with Ray. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.Jacked from The Toronto Sun

Yeah, she'd been saying for some years before he died that he owed her. That's why folks kill me anglicizing MJ. Yeah, he was a hell of a dancer and musician, but he was SHREWD. He knew he had the lawyers and money to keep the case tied up in court until she caved. Folks don't want to admit it, but a lot of folks didn't get the money dude owed him until someone else took over his estate.
MJ is still king to me, but you gotta call it and see it for what it is and was.
