Adele continues to reign as her smash hit album 21 turns up on top of the US charts again for a total of 24 weeks.
POP superstar Adele’s album 21 has notched up 24 weeks at the top of the US charts — one of only eight to do so.
The collection returned to No1 after selling 75,000 copies — up 30 per cent on the previous week.
Music execs attributed the huge hike to an American TV special Adele Live In London that aired last week.
The Someone Like You singer’s album has never left the top ten in the 68 weeks since it went in at No1 on March 12 last year.
The last album to achieve the 24-week milestone was Prince’s Purple Rain in 1984 and ’85.Jacked from The Sun

She looks like a grandmother because she smokes. Smoking will age you faster than drinking.
Her album is nice don't get me wrong, but at the same time she is hyped to the max. Her music isn't groundbreaking or all that special. It's because she's white and sings with alittle bit of soul people treat her music like the second coming of Jesus Christ. I'm just saying.
There was only one white woman who could sing black music and get major props and praise from black people. For some reason mainstream hollywood did not promote her. That woman was Teena Marie; rest in heaven.
