Rihanna Escapes Hotel Fire

Rihanna had to be evacuated from her posh London hotel after an early morning fire.

RIHANNA made an emergency evacuation from her hotel in London at 6am this morning after a lift shaft caught fire.

The star was one of the 300 guests was forced to wait outside The Corinthian in Whitehall Place in the early hours while fire engines attended the scene.

The sleepy star tweeted fans a picture of herself bundled up in the back of a taxi in a grey hoodie and sunglasses as she then decided to take a ride around the city.

She told fans: “Roamin da streets since 6am! Fyah in da telly”.

A London Fire Brigade spokesman said no one was injured in the blaze but the fire did cause a small amount of damage to a lift on the 7th floor of the hotel.

Around 10 firefighters dealt with the incident after being called at 6.22am.

''But instead of waiting for the all-clear, she got a taxi to take her on a tour of Downing Street, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.''

After her impromptu tour, the Bajan beauty stopped off at fast food restaurant McDonald's for some breakfast before heading back to the hotel.

The source added: ''She also made time to stop for a McDonald's breakfast from Charing Cross.''
