Kanye West Controlling Kim Kardashian's Weight

Kanye West monitors Kim Kardashian's weight very closely to make sure she doesn't lose her curves.

Kim recently dropped a quick seven pounds in only a week. Unfortunately, her boyfriend Kanye is not happy about her sudden weight loss!

Kim Kardashian, 31, should feel super sexy after she dropped some pounds, so she was a little surprised by Kanye West‘s reaction to her sudden slim down.

“Kanye loves her curves and has told her repeatedly that she shouldn’t get too skinny,” an insider tells OK Magazine. ”He’s always encouraging her just to be happy and healthy and do things for herself and not give in to peer pressure, which is why he doesn’t think she should lose weight.”

At first, Kim thought that Kanye was joking. She was genuinely surprised that he had such a negative reaction to her weight loss.

“Kim was speechless, especially when he told her he missed her love handles,” says a family insider. ”Kanye can’t understand why she has lost weight when she knows it’s not the look he likes. He thinks Kim should be doing everything to please him — not herself!”

Regardless of Kanye’s protests, Kim is still continuing along with her weight loss plan. Kim’s defiance has Kanye very worried that she may be rethinking their relationship.

Kanye is “taking it very personally,” the insider tells OK Magazine. ”He’s been sulking and worries that it’s a sign that Kim is getting restless. He’s quite clingy, and it drives Kim a little nuts.”

But Kanye will just have to deal with it, because the only person Kim is concerned with pleasing is herself. She’s going to continue with her weight loss plan because it makes her feel great and confident about her body.

“Kim is her own person,” the source said. “The sooner that Kanye realizes that the better.”
