Lindsay Lohan Lying About Hotel Bill

Lindsay Lohan claims she thought her Chateau Marmont hotel bill was being picked up by her 'Liz & Dick' producers, but insiders says that's a big fat lie.

 It’d be easier to leave LiLo a-Lohan if she weren’t such a liar.

The 26-year-old trouble doll claims she thought producers for Lifetime’s upcoming “Liz & Dick” were picking up her $46k Chateau Marmont tab and that’s why she never paid the hefty bill. But a source close to the pillow-lipped actress says Lohan knew all along that the bill, complete with a $686 tab for 49 packs of cigarettes over 47 days, was her responsibility.

“When she first received the letter [about the overdue bill], she told everyone she was going to pay it,” says the insider. “She never once was confused the producers had agreed to pick it up for her. It’s not a part of her contract.”

TMZ.com reports producers gave Lohan a one-time-only $5,000 advance so she could move into a hotel on May 30, but the source reiterates Lohan never had reason to believe they would foot the rest of the bill at the Andre Balazs luxury hotel, and she’s now making excuses.

Lucky for Lohan, we hear from the upscale property that they will lift their ban on her if she does the right thing. A source associated with the Chateau, where Roman Polanski, Robert De Niro, Keanu Reeves, Johnny Depp and Courtney Love have all stayed for extended periods, says if Lohan takes care of her debt she’ll be “welcomed back into the hotel.”

The property released a statement saying copies of Lohan’s 16-page tab were given to the media by Team Lohan, not them.

“After investigation, it appears that a private correspondence between Chateau Marmont’s general manager and Miss Lohan was leaked by a member of her entourage,” the general statement read. “We are as horrified, disappointed and troubled by this occurrence as Miss Lohan surely is.”
