Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York after attacking a girl in a bar.
Lindsay Lohan “truly flipped out and punched that woman for no good reason,” says an observer who watched it all go down at the Avenue nightclub in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood.
The “Liz & Dick” star was arrested early Thursday and charged with third-degree assault in the spat with Tiffany Eve Mitchell of West Palm Beach, Fla. After almost four hours in the police precinct, she left with a black jacket pulled over her head.
According to my source and other observers on the scene, Mitchell did not initiate the confrontation with the actress.
A second source at the club told this column, “Lindsay apparently didn’t like the way the woman and her husband — plus the couple who were with them — were looking at her” as they sat in another booth in the club’s VIP section.
“Lindsay clearly thought they were staring at her, laughing and mocking her. … She supposedly heard a crack about her Liz Taylor movie, and you could see her just get all steamed up.”
According to several witnesses, Lohan approached the woman and told her to “get out of my face,” and then returned to her table. At some point shortly afterward, Mitchell walked by Lohan and appeared to accidentally bump into the actress — and that’s when she reportedly got belted in the kisser.Jacked from Sun Times

I don't believe this. If she hit the girl she probably deserved & provoked it. Some celebrities are easy targets because they are known to snap. Like Chris Brown, Mike Tyson back in the day & Lindsay. So people provoke them to sue.
