Lindsay Lohan will be charged for lying about her car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway.
LINDSAY Lohan is in big trouble with the law AGAIN – the actress will reportedly be charged with lying to the police over her car accident.
The star insisted to cops she wasn’t driving her Porsche when it crashed into a lorry on the Pacific Coast Highway, California, in June.
However, multiple witnesses have come forward stating Lindsay was behind the wheel, according to TMZ.
It’s claimed the actress could face a lengthy jail sentence if the misdemeanour case is filed by the Santa Monica City Attorney – because she’s currently on probation for stealing a necklace.
Cops allegedly found prescription drugs in the boot of her car, but charges relating to their discovery have been dropped after Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Holley apparently proved they were properly prescribed by a doctor.
Witnesses told police they saw pills scattered all over the road after the collision that left Lindsay’s bonnet smashed in.
Cops interviewed Lindsay after she’d been taken to hospital for check-ups – and she reportedly told them her assistant was the one driving.
At the time, a number of motorists claimed to have seen both Lindsay and her aide climb out of the passenger door.Jacked from The Sun
