Nicki Minaj pulled out the race card against Barbara Walters regarding her feud with fellow American Idol judge, Mariah Carey when she ranted against the interviewer during a three-part special on E!
The series entitled My Truth is being aired to hype the re-release of Nicki’s album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The ReUp, but her truth may be a little one-sided, at least on the color front.
Nicki went off after learning that Barbara seemingly took Mimi’s side when it came to the infamous confrontation, expressing that she was never asked for her story when Babs went on The View and relayed she and Mariah’s conversation for the audience (including when Nicki allegedly said that if she had a gun, she’d shoot the music diva).
“Am I not good enough for you to get my side, ’cause I’m a little black girl that raps? If I was J. Lo, you would’ve called J. Lo’s camp… You wasn’t even there when I was on the show, Barbara.”
Nicki had been on the show the week prior to the argument between her and Mariah; Barbara was a no-show that day.
“So I guess I’m not good enough, but I’m only good enough for you to tell people that I’m unpredictable when you don’t f*cking know me!”
Except for one problem: Barbara did, in fact, attempt to contact Nicki’s people to get her side of things, but there was no response.
It probably wasn’t a repeated process considering Nicki put out quite the interesting Tweet regarding Barbara: “”Barbara walters didn’t reach out from our team barbz. I guess we’re too dangerous. Don’t shake if u don’t wannA get shook.”
