Celebrity chef Rachel Ray suffers major embarrassment after her husband, entertainment lawyer John Cusimano, is connected to a well known New York swingers club.
John Cusimano, husband of television personality and chef Rachael Ray, has reportedly been caught frequenting a swing club in New York City.
The 45-year-old Entertainment Lawyer, Cusimano, has reportedly been a regular at the swing club, Checkmate, located on East 56th Street in Manhattan, both prior to and after his marriage to Ray.
Checkmate is said to cater exclusively to couples and single women who want to explore an alternative lifestyle and is open only on Friday and Saturday nights.
Cusimano is said to have attended with female escorts, says the Daily Mail, per an eyewitness, who also adds that Rachael Ray was never present.
The swing club is reportedly quite selective to whom they extend membership. Prospective clients have to include a photograph with their application and it boasts that its clientele is hip, youngish, attractive, vibrant, fit and well-dressed!
Checkmate reportedly also offers a buffet, a lounge area, large “playroom” in the back with beds that can accommodate multiple people, co-ed showers and a co-ed locker room.
The source alleges that Cusimano was once turned away because he showed up in shorts and a T-shirt and quickly went home to change into a more suitable ensemble before returning. He added that Cusimano always stopped by the club’s buffet before closing to grab a few bagels for the road.
Apparently, the source is close to Cusimano or perhaps even Checkmate staff – someone who obviously knows Cusimano’s habits at the club.
The informant who broke the story to the National Enquirer claims that Cusimano visited the club at least six times and with “at least” one female escort. No word from Cusimano’s camp, though Ray’s publicist has told MailOnline that it is their policy not to comment on stories that have been published in the National Enquirer.
Rachael Ray often fondly mentions her husband during her shows and she's still in the honeymoon phase of her marriage. But one thing’s for sure, John Cusimano is definitely in hot water!

wasn't he the man that spit and bit - I doubt Rachel is in the dark about this dude. She is off building empires while he is trying to build self esteem. Rachel needs to marry up next time.
