The View co-host Whoopie Goldberg is sick and tired of Barbara Walters micro-managing on the set of The View.
BARBARA WALTERS was welcomed back on “The View”– by everyone but WHOOPI GOLDBERG!
The show’s outspoken moderator was a no-show when 83-year-old Barbara returned after being out six weeks due to her much-heralded fall and surprise case of chicken pox.
“Whoopi was not happy that Barbara got hurt, but she sure was happy that Barbara wasn’t at the studio either,” a show insider told The ENQUIRER. “Whoopi has grown tired of Barbara’s negative critiques and trying to micro-manage every little thing the women say.”
BARBARA WAS HOSPITALIZED ON JAN. 19 AFTER fainting and cutting her head during inauguration weekend in Washington, D.C. The news legend needed six stitches, and doctors soon discovered that she was also suffering from chicken pox. She was ordered to stay home and rest in bed for at least six weeks.
After just about six weeks to the day, Barbara returned to “The View” and was gushed over by co-hosts Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck as well as guests, New York Mayor Michael Bloom-berg and Regis Philbin. But Whoopi was M.I.A.
“Whoopi negotiated extra ‘Barbara’ days off in her contract, so when she gets fed up she can take a break to clear her head – or cool off – before she has to deal with Barbara again,” explained the insider.
And she apparently used one of those days off when Barbara returned to the show on March 4.
“Whoopi was annoyed,” said the source, “because the whole time Barbara was on sick leave she still watched the show and sent in her criticisms.”Jacked from The National Enquirer

I was on medical leave from work for about two months and watched The View almost every day and I can tell you Barbara Walters were so damn annoying. She interrupts constantly, and changes the course of the conversation to always make it about her. She tells these long winded, boring stories about old shit nobody cares about. The ladies will be having a heated debate and Barbara would break in and talk slow as hell right into a commercial break. When they come back from break, the topic has changed and nobody's point was heard but Barbara. She is like grandma/grandpa telling old stories that are interesting to anyone, Ugh, Barbara is very annoying, and difficult to talk to.
So this is what aged opinionated attention whoring looks like.

I never noticed Barbara being annoying. The only annoying one to me, is Elizabeth.
I think Whoopi should just be grateful that she can make good money doing nothing. Just sitting around a table talking about celebrities everyday is not hard work.
I CAN'T STAND Barbara and I am so happy she will not be on the show anymore. She CAN NOT relate to any topic that is being discussed. I love seeing Whoopi roll her eyes and act annoyed when the camera isn't supposed to have caught it. Barbara is rude and asks guest such inappropriate questions. She is CLUELESS. Just like so many rude old people.
