Nanny Says Khloe Hated Bruce

A former Kardashian nanny says Khloe Kardashian hated step-dad Bruce Jenner on sight and refused to speak to him growing up.

But when Behan was hired on July 4, 1991, she could not imagine that Kourtney, 12; Kim, 10; Khloe, 6; and Robert, 4, would become reality TV’s most famous family. Prior to meeting the Kardashians, Behan had worked three years as the full-time nanny for Bruce’s kids, Brandon and Brody Jenner.

The life of luxury revolved around the domineering Kris Jenner, who was grooming her brood for stardom. “Kris wants what she wants, when she wants it, which is usually now!’ ” Behan, now 41, said in an exclusive interview.

“Especially as hired help, there were good times and bad times.”

Bad times like when Behan made the terrible mistake of forgetting to buy broccoli at the grocery store. “I can’t believe you forgot the f---ing broccoli!” Kris Jenner belted out.

The episode was one of many occasions in which Behan ended up on the verge of a breakdown due to Kris’ sky-high standards.

“I had mentally started packing my bags — I was going to quit. And all this, over broccoli!” said Behan, author of “Malibu Nanny: Adventures of the Former Kardashian Nanny.”

But the nanny persevered and grew accustomed to the Jenners’ demands. After the power couple wed in 1991, they asked Behan to brew a pot of Starbucks breakfast blend every day at 5 a.m. and leave it outside their door on a tray with mugs, hotel-style.

The kids learned from their parents. Kourtney was “a serious child” who didn’t mince words and she let her new stepdad know it. “Bruce tried to engage with Kourtney and to parent her as a good stepfather would. Kourtney wanted nothing to do with it,” Behan said. “Bruce tried to talk to her, and she yelled, ‘You’re not my dad! Don’t even speak to me!’ ”
