Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci defends the monstrosity he designed for Kim Kardashian's Met Ball debut.
Tisci Defends Sofa Dress: Kim Kardashian’s custom Givenchy Met Ball dress received mixed reviews for it’s sofa-type floral print and built-in matching gloves. But the dress’s designer Riccardo Tisci is still keen on his creation.
While reflecting on the event with WWD, Tisci said:
“She is a really good friend, and I am very happy she came to the Met for the first time. I love Kim. Doing maternity was fantastic. I wanted to have a Kim Kardashian moment, because Kim always supports me. She is the future wife of a really good friend of mine. I wanted to have a moment of family…Kim, Kanye and the baby. It will be a family that I will be close to. Kim said, ‘Ricky, I love what you’re doing so much, I am in your hands.’ I said, we should give her our punk moment with a romantic beautiful flower-printed dress. I have dressed many pregnant women in the past. People can say what they want. To me, pregnancy is the most beautifulthing in the world, and when you celebrate something, you give people flowers. I think she looked amazing. She was the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career.”

He designed that dress on purpose and hooked up with Frank as a get back to Kanye. Please read between the lines of his statement. He's being overly nice while giggling behind the scenes. Kim is so dumb and smitten with the cameras and her invitation she can't even see what's going on. His instagram pics yells of someone attempting to send a message and that get back message was to Kanye!

If he stands behind that eye sore he needs to start designing Funeral bouquets. He will have a thriving business. I know flowers are suppose to be the trend but he had this heifer looking like the rose garden. Any person knows anyone with weight must stay away from florals, stripes and animal print!!,,,
