Beyonce Sells Out New Zealand in 15 Minutes

Beyonce's first solo tour in New Zealand sells out in an amazing 15 minutes flat.

Beyonce tickets were in hot demand this morning, with tickets selling out in just 15 minutes - and scalpers appeared to be among the lucky ones.
Tickets to all three of Beyonce's shows at Auckland's Vector Arena in October went on sale at 10am, and were "virtually" all gone within 15 minutes.
Top price for tickets were $249.90 for the platinum section with gold general admission on the floor starting at $189.90 and cheap seats available for $99.
But tickets were going much more than that on TradeMe, which listed more than 30 auctions for Beyonce tickets. Bidding on one auction, for three seated tickets for Beyonce's Friday, October 18 show, had hit $925.
One auction, for a pair of tickets to Beyonce's October 18 show, had been viewed more than 3000 times.
"People like you make me sick," wrote a viewer of one auction.
"Scalping is a big no no!" wrote another.
Spring is shaping as a mammoth run for visiting international pop acts in Auckland with One Direction ($99-$129), Rihanna ($99-$139), Justin Bieber ($102-$152) and Taylor Swift ($111-152) all playing multiple nights at Vector Arena.
Beyonce's Mrs Carter Show world tour follows the birth of her first child last year.
It will be Beyonce's first solo tour in New Zealand.

Well, if this is Grand Yaki Princess' first stop ever in Zealand, I can kind of believe this.

I refuse to spend that kind of money to see the same old everything.

Why must it be announced!! The Rolling Stones never announced the number of concerts they sold out, and they are 80 year old men!! I guess when you have a loyal strong fan base there is no need to generate hype over ticket sales.
