Cara Delevingne Up for the Lead in 50 Shades of Grey

Fashion world it girl Cara Delevingne is the front runner for the lead role in the 50 Shades of Grey movie.
Cara Delevingne has reportedly auditioned for a role in the upcoming 50 Shades Of Grey movie.
The model is said to be 'desperate' to star in the raunchy flick, which is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, in the hope of launching herself as a serious actress.
She's already familiar with Sam's husband Aaron after she took a bit part alongside him in Anna Karenina last year, boosting her chances of landing a role.
‘Cara is a front-runner for a part,' a source says.
‘She's desperate to get the gig and has always said that she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress.
‘[Cara] is a global icon now and a good actress as well and Sam wants her in the movie - though which part exactly hasn't been established.'
It's thought that Cara, 20, could be given a pivotal role in the film.
‘[Cara's] agent has also been talking to Kelly Marcel, the screenplay writer,' the source tells The Sun. ‘And, if needs be, a strong role will be written in for her.'
It comes just days after the model, who's previously spoken of her desire to break into acting, was reportedly cast in Brit flick Kids In Love.
Will Cara play Anastasia Steele? Or could she be Anastasia's best pal Kate Kavanagh? We can't wait to find out!
