Record Label Fires 50 Employees After Lady Gaga Flop

Lady Gaga's Artpop flop cost 50 employees their jobs at Interscope records.
Lady Gaga’s critically slammed album ARTPOP is predicted to sell only between 240,000 and 260,000 copies its first week. Her last album “Born This Way,” sold 1.1 million copies in its first week.
The numbers are a disaster for both Gaga and Interscope.
Interscope Records put $25 million into ARTPOP’s promotion. The most money any record company paid for promotion since Michael Jackson’s “Invincible” 30 million.
How Interscope will lay off at least 50 employees after Gaga’s disaster.
Sources are telling THE EXAMINER that Lady Gaga will tone down her act. “She now realizes her bizarre act is overshadowing her music.”

It's called getting "played out". When you are too over the top and do too much there is going to come a time when you can no longer out do yourself. People get bored with the same ole' sh*t. Gaga used up all of her shock value, she has nothing else to give people, they have seen it all from her and frankly, they're over it. She just got played out. Gimmicks don't last only talent has longevity and SHE is responsible for putting more energy and focus on antics than she did on her talent.

To stay revelant can be expensive - no chance of recovery from this Lady Doo Doo!!

At the end of the day she should have just focused on her talent, instead of like other posters said shock antics, Madonna did enough shock antics to last this entire lifetime, so everyone that is alive at the same time in this same era is over that bullshit. the decade of gimmicks and stunt queen antics is finished, the Piscerian age is done.

Co-sign @1:26. It's really a shame because she can blow. Unfortunately, she (and her handlers) put herself on the stroll as some outrageous gimmick instead of selling people on her talent first, and this is what happens.
