Britney Spears Offered $12 Million to Extend Vegas Residency

Vegas bosses begging Britney Spears to extend her Las Vegas residency for $12 million.

Britney Spears is delivering where it counts — at the box office — in her “Britney: Piece of Me” residency at Axis Theater at Planet Hollywood.
Consequently, the pop singer has reportedly been offered $12 million to extend her residency at the renovated, 4,500-seat theater through December 2016.
A report published today by the New York Daily News says that Spears has been offered that figure to continue performing at P.H. through Christmas 2016. Her run was originally for 96 shows through December 2015.
In the Daily News piece, Harrah’s and Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner confirmed that his company, Caesars Entertainment, wants Spears to continue performing through the end of ’16.
“Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not,” Selesner said. The 32-year-old Spears opened at Axis on Dec. 27.
Messages to Caesars Entertainment reps to confirm the report are yet unreturned. Spears is performing in her current set of shows at Axis on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Is this lip syncing robot really worth $12 million dollars.

Your headline is misleading.

I do think $12 would be about right, though.
