He is known for sharing his shirtless selfies in bed with his over 2 million followers to see.
But it seems like James Franco had more in mind when he was joined by a fellow actor in one of his rather intimate snaps.
Keegan Allen, the man that shared a bed with Franco in an Instagram picture, spoke to E! News and revealed that the 36-year-old star wanted to 'blow up Twitter' with the image.
The 24-year-old Pretty Little Liars star said that taking a selfie in bed wasn't exactly what he had in mind when he visited Franco backstage at the Broadway show Of Mice and Men.
Keegan told the entertainment site: 'I went to go say hey to him in his dressing room.
'There were a lot of people there and I asked him, "What's the way to do the best selfie in bed?" and he showed me.' 'And then he climbed in really quickly and he was like, "Let's blow up Twitter for a second."'
