Kendall Jenner completely messed up when presenting at the Billboard Music Awards, and she claimed it was because she wasn’t wearing her contacts — but that’s not the only reason.
Poor Kendall Jenner. It was clear she was just super nervous on May 18, whenshe completely flubbed her introduction of 5 Seconds of Summer at the Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. However, HollywoodLife.com has exclusively learned she may have just needed more practice.
Kendall, 18, actually skipped rehearsals before the Billboard Awards, an insider close to the show told us exclusively.
That would really explain the mistake that happened. She came on stage to introduce the new band, but actually misread the teleprompter and started to call them One Directioninstead! She then bent down, out of the frame because she was so embarrassed, before popping up and saying, “Guys, I’m the worst reader. Ummm.”
She definitely needed to rehearse — it was like she forgot what she was doing!
However, she took to Twitter to respond to the whole mishap, and said that she actually couldn’t see: “Anndddd as if I wasn’t nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned,” Kendall tweeted.
However, she seemed to have gotten the first half right — she said the first sentence or two perfectly. So, that’s weird that she didn’t need contacts for that part!Jacked from Hollywood Life
