Model Ireland Baldwin defends comments her lover Angel Haze made about their relationship in a recent interview.
An interview last week claimed that Angel Haze stated America wasn't ready for an interracial gay couple in regards to her relationship with Ireland Baldwin.
Following that, Ireland went on a Twitter rant on Sunday defending her rapper girlfriend and claiming her words were twisted, while arguing that commentary about their relationship should be unrelated to race or gender.
The 18-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger had just finished watching Angel perform at Glastonbury Music Festival when she took to social media to express her thoughts.
'Making this about race or the fact that were both women is rather outdated,' Ireland wrote, adding, 'This is a new world we live in people.'
The model continued: 'Our private life should be respected as well. A lot of claims have been recently posted that we're never said. reporters like to take our words, alter them to their benefit and run [sic]'
'It's not cool. We're happy. We're healthy. That's all that matters,' she concluded, speaking of her budding new relationship with the 22-year-old Detroit born musician.
Ireland's cousin Hailey Baldwin had been in the UK with her to attend Glastonbury, and offered a few words of support via her own Twitter account.
'You do what makes you happy Bee and stick with positive people who add to your happiness,' she wrote, after spending a weekend she Ireland and Angel. 'Love you guys!'
Whilst hanging out together and watching the festival, the trio posted numerous snaps of each other.
Angel shared a cute photo in which she and Ireland were cuddled up asleep together, captioning it: 'we passed out at Glastonbury. Finally done. Let's go home.'
The couple later took Hailey to the airport to send her back to America, and the sleepy girls shared an airport group shot as they wished her well.Jacked from The Daily Mail

This whole thing smells like a publicity stunt, at least from the White girl. Admittedly, I don't have the best "gay-dar", but something about her screams, "I'm just passing through. I'll be back to dating guys and claiming this relationship was just a phase."
Nobody cares. I haven't even come across a blog mentioning their relationship that has made issue with them being gay or in an interracial relationship. They're just pissed off that nobody gives two f*cks about whatever it is they're doing.
A lot of claims?..lmaooo! Oooh who is she kidding?..this is the same ONE recycled rebooted bullshit "story" that these two no names are trying to make happen..don't nobody really care though
