Michael Lohan facing jail over back child support owed to ex-wife Dina Lohan.
Lindsay Lohan's father has been ordered to pay more money towards his son's education.
A judge informed Michael Lohan on Friday that a warrant would be issued for his arrest if he fails to pay his ex-wife, Dina Lohan, back child support, according to TMZ.
The money is to cover their 17-year-old son Cody's private education at a Catholic school in New York by July.
Dina, 51, filed court documents earlier this month, claiming Michael refused to contribute to Cody's education after they agreed to split the $10,000-a-year tuition.
She insisted he hadn't paid her anything for three years and owed her $20,000, but legal papers state he only needs to pay her $3,800.
The showbiz patriarch, who also has children Michael Jr. and Aliana with Dina, previously dismissed the dispute and insisted he had already given Dina $30,000 for the school and bought Cody a car.
He also claimed he gave his formerspouse an additional $1,500 a month for the past two years and gave aspiring model Aliana $35,000 to pay the rent on her apartment in New York City.
Michael previously accused Dina of spending $10,000 on trips to visit her boyfriend in Texas.
Michael and Dina married in 1985 and separated when Lindsay was three, but later reconciled.
Dina then filed for divorce in January 2005 and it was finalised in October 2007.
Michael is now engaged to former celebrity journalist 31-year-old Kate Major, with whom he has 16-month-old son Landon.
Earlier this month Kate was sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty for DUI, which violated her probation.Jacked from The Daily Mail
