Mischa Barton in Forclosure

Actress Mischa Barton loses Beverly Hills home to foreclosure.

You know what? Being a grown-up is hard. Life is hard.
People, stuff is hard.
It doesn’t matter if you’re working at McDonald’s, folding shirts at The Gap, an executive on Wall Street, or a big-name Hollywood superstar—you’re still subject to the same woes and life drama everyone else is.
This is a lesson being learned—and learned the hard way—by Mischa Barton, star of the 2000s TV show “The OC” and former spokesmodel for Bebe. Since her TV series was canceled in 2007, she’s had ongoing financial difficulties.
Now she finds herself behind on her mortgage payments to the tune of $100,000. Under the heading, “Oh, how the mighty have fallen!”, she’s in the uncomfortable position of selling her posh pad in Beverly Hills—or losing it to foreclosure.
(There’s no two ways about it. However, that’s how mortgages work. You either pay them, or you don’t get to keep the house.)
Rather than go head-to-head with her lender, the British-born actress has listed her opulent villa in the Beverly Hills neighborhood of Bowmont Estates for $8,695,000. It’s a spectacle of a place, with eight bedrooms and 11 full baths—spread over just a hair more than 10,000 square feet.
Y’all? This is quite a pile of bricks.
There are actually two houses on the property: the main house and a spacious guest house—because, you know, you don’t want to have your guests too close, right?
Walking into the kitchen will immediately transport you to the Tuscan countryside. With its open-beamed ceiling, distressed cabinetry, artisan tile floor, and massive granite-topped center island, it’d be pretty easy to forget you were a stone’s throw from Rodeo Drive.
There also is a gargantuan, chef’s-grade range with a commercial hood, dual wall ovens, built-in SubZero fridge (paneled to match the cabinetry), and enough space to turn out quite a spread—which you’ll need to do once you fill all those bedrooms and the guest house!
The extravagant master suite has a delicious wood-burning fireplace, dual baths, and sweeping views of the canyon and of Catalina—spoiler alert: it’s really pretty. There’s a glittering in-ground pool, spa, and beautifully lush, manicured grounds.
The place is nothing short of magnificent, and it’s a shame that at the ripe old age of 28, Mischa Barton is having to learn what is a very, very hard lesson. But for someone who’s looking to snap up a lusciously lovely Italianate villa without ever leaving the states, this could be just the opportunity they’re looking for.
Wanna take a look? Give listing agent Joe Babajian of Rodeo Realty a call; we’re willing to bet he’d be happy to hear from you.
(And kids? When you buy a house, remember to pay your mortgage. Even if you filmed Notting Hill and The Sixth Sense as a pre-teen, you’re still going to have grown-up bills to pay someday.)

She better hit Caans and get the escort money. She know how they do when the work not coming in. But really she hasn't had any work in years her or that other chick.
