MILEY Cyrus could be jailed after she was spanked on stage with a Mexican flag.
The controversial singer, 21, is said to have angered politicians in the state of Nuevo Leon when a dancer hit her on the backside with the banner during a show in Monterrey.
She could now face a 36-hour prison sentence or be fined $1,200 (£730) after Mexico lawmakers approved a warrant for misuse of the flag.
In 2008 singer Paulina Rubio was fined £2,440 after she appeared naked while draped in a Mexican flag for the Spanish edition of Cosmopolitan.Jacked from The Sun
