Kesha Swore Under Oath Dr. Luke Never Touched Her

Bad news for Kesha's lawsuit against her manager Dr. Luke. An old deposition from 2011 surfaces were she swore under oath the Dr. Luke never gave her drugs.

Kesha's lawsuit against music producer Dr. Luke just got a lot more confusing. The "Tik Tok" singer, who claims that the music producer drugged and raped her numerous times, previously swore under oath that Dr. Luke had never harmed her.
She did so in a deposition from 2011, when Kesha and Luke were being sued by her former manager. In copies of the court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the songstress said "No" when asked if Luke ever roofied her, gave her drugs, or had sexual relations with her.
According to TMZ, the documents were previously sealed until Luke's lawyer requested that the deposition be unsealed for use in the current case.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Kesha's lawyer Mark Geragos says: "Luke's latest legal maneuver comes as no surprise; it’s a desperate Hail Mary and a pathetic attempt to once again blame his victim. As detailed in our complaint, Luke walked Kesha down the beach and threatened to destroy Kesha's life and the lives of her family if she didn't cover up his sexual assaults in a 2011 deposition. He is now following through on his threats and grasping at straws to try and twist Kesha’s coerced statements. Unfortunately protecting abusers out of fear happens all too often with battered women. This case is about Luke's physical, emotional and psychological abuse of Kesha and her fight to get him out of her life. After being driven to the brink of death and into rehab, she's no longer going to allow herself to wither away at the hands of her abuser as he tries to blame the victim."
Geragos also directed attention to a section of Kesha's complaint against Dr. Luke, which states: "Dr. Luke repeatedly threatened that if she ever told anyone about these abusive incidents, he would destroy both Ms. Sebert and her entire family. Specifically, after he drugged and raped Ms. Sebert, Dr. Luke took her down to the beach alone to 'have a talk' with her. He threatened that if she ever mentioned the rape to anyone, he would shut her career down, take away all her publishing and recording rights, and otherwise destroy not only her life but her entire family’s lives as well. He also threatened her and her family's physical safety. Ms. Sebert wholly believed that Dr. Luke had the power and money to carry out his threats; she therefore never dared talk about, let alone report, what Dr. Luke had done to her."
As previously reported by Us, Kesha's lawsuit claims that Dr. Luke had been abusive toward her since she signed with his label at the age of 18.
In a countersuit, Dr. Luke claims Kesha’s documents were fabricated by her mother Pebe Sebert and the singer’s new management firm in an attempt to extort him and release her from her contract. Dr. Luke’s lawyer Christine Lepera previously told Us that Kesha’s lawsuit is part of “a campaign of publishing outrageous and untrue statements.”
