L'Wren Scott Money Woes Much Worse Than Previously Reported

The full extent of Mick Jagger's tracic girlfriend L'Wren Scott's debt problems revealed.

MICK Jagger’s tragic girlfriend L’Wren Scott owed more than £6million when she killed herself, it was revealed yesterday.
New figures show that the stylist and fashion designer’s troubled company was £5.4million in debt — £2million more than was believed at the time of her suicide in March.
American L’Wren, long-term lover of the Rolling Stones legend, 71, was found hanged at her New York flat aged 49. At the time, her company LS Fashion was understood to have debts of £3.4million.
It has now emerged she owed creditors a total of £6.5million which included £850,000 due to be paid within one year. L’Wren was said to be “embarrassed” by her business problems, which reportedly meant she had struggled to pay staff and suppliers.
The new accounts filed with London’s Companies House cover 2013.
They state that despite its problems the business, which is owned by a US parent company, will continue to “meet its obligations” with shareholders’ support.
L’Wren and Jagger had been together since 2001 meeting when she was working as a stylist on a photoshoot.
The Stones were in Perth, Australia, when the news of her death emerged and a planned tour was hastily postponed. At the time Jagger said on his website: “I am still struggling to understand how my lover and my best friend could end her life in this tragic way.”
