Rihanna Passes on Calvin Harris

Rita Ora's revenge? Producer Calvin Harris doesn't make the cut for Rihanna's new album.

CALVIN HARRIS wrote every single word and note of RIHANNA’s biggest-ever hit – yet he’s been snubbed from her new album.
The Scottish DJ submitted songs for her delayed comeback record but says she didn’t get back to him. Speaking in his dressing room ahead of his £1.1million gig in Puerto Rico on Saturday night, he said: “No I’m not on the Rihanna album.
“I did a few things for it but they don’t get back to you. There are a lot of people involved! “She listens to everything — I know that — but she’s got a strong idea and identity and an idea of what her album should sound like.”
Calvin’s We Found Love bagged Rihanna ten weeks at No1 in the US and made him a fortune.
But the dance music superstar, who is signed to JAY Z’s Roc Nation firm just like the Bajan singer, isn’t bitter. He said: “It’s not like they put me on We Found Love because I’m signed to Roc, they did it because it’s a f***ing good song.

"Rita Ora's revenge"? PLEASE! She probably doesn't have enough power to change her own WiFi password at Roc Nation, let alone keep her ex off somebody's album.

Besides, Rihanna could be looking to get away from dance music and to do something different for her 8th album. We'll see.
