Taryn Manning Arrested for Making Terroristic Threats

Actress Taryn Manning arrested for making terrorist threats to a former friend.

"Orange is the New Black" star Taryn Manning has been arrested for making criminal threats against a former close friend ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Taryn had been ordered to stay away from Jeanine Heller, a former pal after the 2 ended up in court and a judge issued a mutual domestic restraining order.

We're told the judge determined Tuesday Taryn violated the restraining order by threatening to kill Jeanine via text and social media. Taryn was not in court, so the judge cited her for contempt and police then arrested her.

It's really bitter ... Jeanine has also been arrested in the past for violating the order by stalking Taryn -- sending her hundreds of texts and emails.
