But model Jordan Barrett, the 18-year-old Australian said to be the latest arm candy of socialite Paris Hilton, has a dark family past the high-flying heiress is unlikely to know about.
For the father of the square-jawed, pouty IMG Model is convicted drug dealer Adrian, described by police to be the head of a $9 million cannabis cartel which trafficked through his plant shop on the Gold Coast.
Barrett, 54, and his partner Allison Cale, 45, who hail from Varsity Lakes, were sentenced to eight years' prison by Southport District Court late in 2013 after found guilty of eight-drug related offences, including trafficking in dangerous drugs.
Count four of the conviction was receiving, or possessing, property from trafficking.
Detective Inspector Tim Trezise of Gold Coast CIB said at the time an estimated $9million worth of cannabis could have been trafficked over the past 12 months.
He told the Courier Mail it was alleged the syndicate was run by Barrett and Cale from their Varsity Lakes hydroponics shop.
The de facto couple have since been released on parole but months after their conviction, in March last year, sun-kissed Jordan ditched Sydney where he lived and moved more than 5,000 miles to Shibuya, Tokyo.
There he enjoys the high life socialising at friends' homes, partying at swanky clubs and snowboarding at the famous Niseko resort.
Daily Mail Australia has made exhaustive attempts to contact Jordan and his father but to no avail.
The striking model is characteristic of heiress Paris's taste in men; she dated 23-year-old River Viiperi for two years before the couple split last year.
