Insiders claim 42-year-old actress Gwyneth Paltrow is dating 24-year-old actor Chord Overstreet.
Gwyneth Paltrow is apparently 'out to show she's still got it' by dating Chord Overstreet.
The Oscar winning actress is rumoured to be getting close to the 25-year-old Glee star. And it's been claimed that the new relationship is partly to get back at ex-husband Chris Martin, who is rumoured to be dating 24-year-old actress Jennifer Lawrence.
'Chord is really keen. Gwyneth does like him, but it's also a bit of payback against Chris,' a source told British magazine Heat of the relationship. 'Everyone's talking about Chris and Jen, and whether they'll go to the Oscars together. Gwyn's out to show she's still got it too.'
The 42-year-old first met Chord when she originally guest starred on Glee in 2010, as substitute teacher Holly Holliday. The insider claims the pair reconnected during a recent trip to Mexico for their mutual friend Crystal Lourd's 50th birthday.
'They spent most of the weekend together and even went out to dinner the night after the party,' they added. Gwyneth was married to Coldplay front man Chris for ten years before their infamous 'conscious uncoupling' in March last year. The couple have two children together but since their split, the 37-year-old has been spotted dining out with Hunger Games actress Jennifer.
The star is reportedly keen for them to go public but Chris is allegedly cautious as he doesn't want to upset his ex-wife.
'Chris feels torn - he knows he could risk losing Jen if he doesn't make it official soon, but he's told her he is trying to tread carefully for Gwyneth's sake," a source told British magazine Closer. "It seems he isn't sure if she's ready to watch him and Jen become Hollywood's newest couple.'Jacked from Music News
