Mindy McCready's mother reveals shocking secrets from the tragic country singer's dark last days.
The world of country music was rocked when troubled star Mindy McCready killed herself just weeks after her boyfriend was found dead from gunshot wounds – and a new book has revealed the shocking truth about how the tragedies could have been prevented!
The singer’s mother has penned a painful tell-all that finally sheds light on her daughter’s dark final days, The National ENQUIRER has exclusively learned.
“It hurt too much to talk about it,” Gayle Inge told The ENQUIRER. “So I wrote the book to expose what happened in Arkansas. I feel laws need to be changed.”
The book reveals that Mindy’s mom had notified Arkansas authorities that her daughter – a convicted felon – was breaking the law by keeping guns in the house. “I wrote letters to the state from Florida, saying you can’t allow Mindy to be in a home with guns,” Gayle revealed.
“She was a felon who had drug and alcohol problems. They knew she had guns in the house, and it was illegal.”
As The ENQUIRER previously reported, 34-year-old David Wilson – Mindy’s boyfriend – committed suicide on their front porch on Jan. 13, 2013.
Just over a month later, Mindy was found dead on the same porch from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“Mindy was completely out of control,” her mother said. “She was depressed, and drinking ... there’s so much injustice there.”Jacked from The National Enquirer
