Rapper Vanilla Ice arrested for burglarizing home he was renovating.
Looks like money still doesn’t buy you sense!
Vanilla Ice has been arrested by Lantana Police for allegedly stealing furniture, bicycles and other things from an abandoned house on North Atlantic Avenue.
We understand that Wes Kain, his bodyguard and co-star, is also involved in the same investigation.
Rumor is they did it during filming of the upcoming season of the DIY Network‘s The Vanilla Ice Project, where Ice Baby and his entourage fix and flip houses throughout Palm Beach County.
We’re told by a source in the 1990s white rapper’s entourage that the duo noticed a house near 101 North Atlantic Drive, where they were filming the new season, was vacant.
Vacant, but still furnished.
So, according to police, Ice and Kain took it upon themselves to raid the place sometime in December or January. Cops got suspicious when they spotted Kain riding one of the stolen bikes on the street and placed the neighborhood under surveillance.
Ice, 47, whose real name is Rob Van Winkle, and Kain were charged with burglary and grand theft. We’re told that the cops got a search warrant and have already recovered some of the stolen items.Jacked from Gossp Extra
