Kim Kardashian West became less ''protective'' of her daughter because it was ruining her social life.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star initially wanted to keep 20-month-old North - her child with husband Kanye West - out of the spotlight but had a change of heart when she realised how difficult it was for her and her little girl.
She said ''At first I was like, 'I'm not going to Instagram photos' or I'm going to try to totally change my life but it was really prohibiting me from spending time with my friends and having my daughter grow up with my friends' kids, so I'm a lot less protective than I was.''
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star says she and Kanye are ''obsessed'' with their little girl and she never expected to be as affected by parenthood until she gave birth.
She told Australia's Daily Telegraph's Sydney Confidential column:

Poor lil' Compass always looks like, "Who THE FUCK ARE these people?" whenever she's forced to pose for pics with either of her so-called "parents". I fear for her future, 'cause I already know that she's gonna be on that ho stroll by the time she's out of training pants.
Kim acts like her daughter is a pet. She takes it out, when she wants to play with it. The child always looks traumatized to be with either of them.
