Woman Claims Rosie O'Donnell Stole Her Baby

The birth-mother of one of Rosie O'Donnell's adopted children claims Rosie took advantage of her while she was down and stole her baby.
There’s family trouble for Rosie O’Donnell.
The former daytime diva, who’s in the middle of a divorce, is being accused of having “stolen” one of her five kids. In an interview with the National Enquirer, according to Radar Online, Deanna Micoley says she was high on drugs and persuaded by her then-husband into giving up her 2-month-old daughter Kayla to an adoption agency in 1997. The girl was adopted by O’Donnell, who named her Chelsea.
“I believe Rosie O’Donnell knew that I was in no condition to sign away my parental rights to my daughter,” Micoley, now 37, told the tabloid in the bombshell story that hit newsstands Wednesday. “She did the worst thing one woman can do to another woman — take her child.”
Micoley said she found out where her girl was in November, when Chelsea, 17, reached out to Micoley’s father.
“Chelsea told him that she was his granddaughter. He called me and broke the news,” Micoley told the Enquirer. “It was the moment I’d been waiting and praying for the last 17 years: I had found my precious daughter!”
She told the newspaper she and Chelsea have been communicating via texts and Facebook messages, but claims O’Donnell is trying to come between them. The married Wisconsin mom of four also provided the Enquirer with some of the heated text message exchanges she claims to have had with the former “View” star.
In some, O’Donnell, 53, encourages her to talk to Chelsea directly because she doesn’t want to be in the middle. In others, she blasts Micoley’s assertion the adoption was a sham.
“Get any lawyers u want,” O’Donnell wrote in one text, according to the Enquirer. “It was all legal. Like it or not. Now stop.”
