Rapper T-Pain reveals the secret engagement of Twilight star Robert Pattinson and singer FKA Twigs.
“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson is engaged to British singer FKA Twigs, friends confirmed to Page Six.
The two were secretly engaged in January after an intense romance.
One friend said, “They are very much in love. She helped him stop drinking and partying. He is really happy and they are inseparable.”
The news emerged after T-Pain let the news slip in a Vulture interview.
When asked to name his musical inspirations, the “Buy You a Drink” singer said, “FKA Twigs, she’s one of my favorite artists right now.”
But when interviewer Dee Lockett asked if the British songstress would make an appearance on T-Pain’s new album, the Auto-Tune enthusiast volunteered a lot more information than expected.
“Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio. Her music’s changed a lot since then. But she’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place. And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing,” he said.
“Wait. She’s engaged?” Lockett asked.
“Yeah, to ol’ Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that …” T-Pain responded.
