Is Tom Cruise leaving Scientology? We highly doubt it, but that's what a new report coming from Star magazine says. Cruise is rumored to be leaving the Church of Scientology because of his daughter Suri, nine, who he shares with actress Katie Holmes.
An insider tells the magazine that a recent phone call between Tom and Suri has the Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation star reconsidering his faith.
"She was going on and on about her ballet class and how much she loves it," the source said. "That's when Tom realized he's never seen her perform ballet and he started to tear up.
"It hit him that she's growing up before his eyes and he's not there to witness most of it. They talk on the phone and video chat, but it's not the same."
Cruise's involvement with the church (and being its most famous member) is said to have played a big part in the breakdown of all three of his marriages, and the alleged controlling nature of the church, especially if it considers his daughter to be a "suppressive person" -- the term the church reportedly uses for its enemies. "Tom has been under tremendous pressure where Suri and Katie are concerned because the church doesn't want him close to them," the source said. Suri my ass, he finally woke up to the money pit that scam of a cult is, any so called "religion spiritual path" that engages in the type of fuckery this half baked religion does is a scam. damn shame all the years he's been working and having to give them all his money,he probably will end up broke and suicidal.
