Mary J. Blige is at the center of a lawsuit after her car was involved in a New York crash, Wednesday.
The accident happened at the intersection of 9th Ave. and 23rd Street. That’s where Mary’s protege, LaNeah Menzies reportedly crashed Mary’s Bentley into Richard Jones Honda. Jones was driving at the time and a man by the name of William Herrera was sitting in the passenger seat of the Honda.
Now, Herrera is looking to cash in. He formally filed a lawsuit against Blige and Menzies, just one-day after the accident.
Court documents do not reveal how serious injuries were, if any. As my dear friend Sandy Baldinger would say, ” Everybody has an angle.” Who is to say that the driver of the Honda didn’t deliberately cause the accident? Times are tough, and the effects of the recession are leading many to move forward with their very last options.
