Camp Knowles is really taking this win to head, believing this solidifies Beyonce iconic status. Now yall all know they like to strike while the iron's hot, so they see this as a perfect time to really take over, leaving gaga, taylor etc in the dust once and for all.
However Bey is hell bent on taking some time off. They got into it on Tuesday (backstage) during a Today show appearance. If Matt gets his way (like always) Bey will NOT take that proposed vacation.
Also, please believe the only reason Bey and Gaga did a video together was because Matt wanted to quell any possible rumors the gossip rags may have started regarding a rivalry between the two. He did the same thing when Shakira started to get big. This all goes back to the negative press Bey recieved after DC members were kicked out of the group. They just don't want that to happen again. However, Matt will not prompt Keri Hilson, Chrisette Michelle, Janelle Monae etc. for a duet with Beyonce because he does not see Black women artists as competition for Bey, especially darker ones.

As I recall, Bey stopped talking to her father, took the break and recorded her CD without him knowing....Bey is going to do what she wants!
