Star Magazine claims the couple are living off credit cards!
Amid all the familiar Kourtney Kardashian “Scott is a dick and she’s needy” tabloid stories this week is one that sticks out as much more interesting. Star Magazine reports that both Kourtney and Scott are deep in debt, getting by on multiple security cards and working to stay afloat while living a flashy lifestyle. I thought that Scott was somewhat wealthy as I remember hearing that he owned the QuickTrim company that the Kardashians are always name-dropping in their yo-yo diet stories. QuickTrim is put out by the company Vitaquest, which is owned by a guy named Keith Frankel, as Scott recently tweeted. Scott is just some kind of executive with that company and if Star is correct he’s not pulling in enough money to pay for all the custom suits, high end cars, and designer goods he loves. He’s allegedly making Kourtney pay for everything and she’s maxed out.
Kourtney, 31, has had money trouble for years, her pal says, but it has recently become a crisis. As Star reported last week, she and Scott, 27, listed their condo [at $795,000] for $34,000 less than she paid for it in 2006 and moved into a house owned by Kourtney’s mother, Kris, and stepfather, Bruce Jenner, on June 25.
But just six days later, Kourtney and Scott went apartment hunting in two tony NYC neighborhoods - more proof that Kourtney’s clueless about cash flow. “She’s always been the one begging Mom to pay off her credit cards,” an insider says. “She considers shopping a job, a sport, and a workout in one. She says, ‘You can burn 200 calories an hour shopping!’”…
“Her American Express card has a balance so high it’s hard to believe. She’s months behind in payments on that one, plus on three Visa cards, and four MasterCards.”
Kourtney’s financial crunch has only worsened because of bad boy Scott. “He insists, ‘You have to look like you have money to make money,’” the friend says. “He makes her buy him Prada shoes and Rolex watches and even lease cars like the $455,000 Lamborghini he drives…
“The out-of-control spending has really put her in the hole. She’s being advised to consider filing for bankruptcy.”

The In Touch cover story on Kourtney wanting another baby doesn’t have anything that sounds particularly new or interesting. It’s all about how Scott has been acting like a douche as usual and flirting with other women and how she’s hoping that another baby will save their relationship. The National Enquirer has something similar, with Kourtney “desperate to keep her family intact” and reasoning that “having another child together will make Scott more responsible, and help him rein in his boozing and out of control anger.” Good luck with that! The first one is not even seven months old and a newborn isn’t going to change the guy.
If Kourtney wants to get her life and finances together she needs to dump Scott and stop paying for everything. It’s kind of pathetic that she’s so in debt despite all her endorsement deals and that this guy helped drive her there. It’s not helping that she’s using shopping as a crutch when she’s bored or wants a pick me up. Shopping can be like any other addiction. It may work in the short term but the long term repercussions aren’t worth it.

I really don't care about these people but some of the stuff in this story rings true. Scotts "you have to look like you have money" comment. He dresses like he's one of Donald Trumps kids but he doesn't come from Donald Trump money. I don't know anyone who wears yatch attire to the mall and that stupid comb back hair style. She closed the baby store they had for 5 years and hasn't paid some of her creditors from that. I feel slightly bad for her because of all of the Kardashians she seems a little sane.
I am sooo glad this is finally coming out so all of their "groupies" can stop saying how rich they are or they come from money. I been said they all would be filing for bankrupcy within 1 year. That includes kim too! I don't care how much money they claim they make, they spend it like water and save nothing. All it will take is for the e show to be cancelled, then guess what? foreclosure for all of their fake asses.
Oh and didn't they already close a store earlier this year??? Why aint no one reporting that? If kim dont find another kneegrow to support her, she'll be filing for bankrupcy by the end of this year. Watch.
What happened to all the money their father left for them? How can it all be gone? SMH @ foreclosure and bankruptcy - they have got to do better.
I read somewhere that the father did not leave the kids anythin and his wife got his assets. He was re-married when he died. Plus he did not earn any money from the oj simpson case. He assisted oj's main lawyers for free as a friend, so he really did not have a lot of money to leave anyone like it has been misreported in the media.
I personally hate Celebitchy. They do not like our kind on their site You know...Opinionated black people. Celebitchy tend to screen their bloggers, and any kind of slick or sly connotations, or ethnic remarks about black or white or just anything that they do not like, they will scrub your name from their site/post. On a sad note, the two of them were diaster waiting to happen. I do beleive although she is the prettiest out of all of them, she is needy and people with low self-esteem seem to attrack scum buckets like Scott. So much for them marrying and having their own show. There is so much that Kris will put up with...either the two of them get it together, or momma is not going to be able to pimp them out to pay their bills.
