Jacked from a random message board.
I just asked my grandfather who was born and raised in Harlem about this thread lol. He said this info is nothing new. He said Melvin was a rat and the only reason why people will not spill all the tea is because of Sean Combs. Most of Melvin associates want to remain in his good grace. He said Janice was so scared that she packed her shit and ran out of Harlem to Yonkers because she thought they would come for her too.
Melvin being a "kingpin" is all in puffy's daddy fantasy. Melvin Combs was a hustler, but in noway was he one the same level as Nicki Barnes or Frank Lucas. Also, people in the know now suspect that Melvin was set up by the police to disrupt and take down some of the heroin trade in Harlem, that is why they arrested everybody with the exception of Melvin in the beginning. When they did arrest Melvin they deliberately released him after a short period in order to raise suspension among the hustlers. The police thought Melvin would have no choice but to snitch and turn state's evidence once it became clear he was a marked man. Melvin unfortunately was killed by a rival hustler before he was able to snitch, the hustler killed Melvin not because of business or snitching, but because Melvin was sleeping with the hustler's woman, I had thought the woman's name was Carmen, but it could have been Cassandra.
Janice Combs and her children were never in harm's way. The reason why she left Harlem and moved to Mount Vernon, was because she was the one who told the hustler where Melvin was going to be that night. She knew Melvin cheated, but she was sacred that he was about to leave her for the other woman. She thought that the hustler was just going beat Melvin up, she didn't know he was going to kill him. Once Melvin was killed, Janice became the other hustler's woman, but a few months later he himself was killed in a drug deal gone wrong. After loosing two men to murder, Janice left Harlem, some say because no other hustler wanted to take up with her, they called her the "black widow". Anyway, she left that life behind.
This is what I have been told by people who were deep into the game during the late 60s till the mid 70s.
So my grandfather said when nicky barnes crew all went to jail. Information leaked that nicky barnes had four or five NYPD officers on his payroll but once they all went to trail the police officers became rats. The officers starting giving information not only about nicky barnes but about other drug dealers also. My grandfather said these NYPD cops were sewage rats, as nasty as they come. He said during the trail one thing that the police officers mentioned was that melvin combs had cooperated with the NYPD. He also said janice combs was not a model but she just organized a lot of fashion shows in harlem. My grandfather said everyone in harlem was at the court house to watch nicky barnes and frank lucas. If they weren't at the court house people would be glued to the radio. Thats all he remembered. He said both trails was the equivalent to the gotti trail to give you an idea of the atmosphere. He did say there was know concrete evidence of him snitching because Melvin was already killed by that time.
That is because he didn't get a chance to snitch. What you say about Janice not being a model, but organizing "fashion shows" is true. However, the "fashion shows" were not real fashion shows, but was a way to hook up young attractive women (mostly her friends) with hustlers. She got paid to put theses "shows" together. She got shut down when a underage girl was sexually assaulted by one of the hustlers at a "fashion show". Janice was never charged, but it put a stop to her "fashion" career.

This sounds like the kinda sewer he was born and raised into. His behavior says it all.
I see where Diddy got his wacky bone structure and teeth from because he sure didn't get it from his mom.
Man, the genes of a snitch and killer(he murdered artiste's careers)brings to light he did have something to do with Biggie's(RIP) death tha movie Notorious was a big clue..ten years and I still be on top..
Lets allow the internet to bring this snake/rat/murdera down..don't buy his Dirty Mouth CD, clothes, and etc.. Shut his azz down!!!
^^ I don't think he'll ever be shut down. He's making the record label money and while he's doing it he's charging the artists to use a studio that he owns. He charges them to say "can't stop won't stop" on their albums. As long as Diddy can troll in the poor neighborhoods for talent and offer them slave contracts he's not going anywhere.
Hey, somebody better send the memo to that little white boys mother, idk his name, but Diddy trying to turn him out like usher.
Cosign with 10:12
@7:08 I agree with you with Pee-Doodoo charging artist. That is the reason I stated he kills peoples' careers. Mary J was smart to jump ship early.
The internet will eventual shut down record labels ask Jermaine Dupri. I am praying P.Diddy...
2010 is the year of accountability. Closets are
being opened, sheets are being pulled off &
wrongs are being exposed. In the end, the FINAL
JUDGEMENT!!!! No money or shiny suits will get
you out of it!
The spiller of this Tea is either one HELL of a storyteller or it is the truth.
Beiber isn't signed to Badboy. All of that is just for show. He's signed to Ushers label under Island/Def Jam which is then under Universal. Bad Boy is under Warner Music Group but Puffy is supposed to be starting a new label under Universal. My guess is that Puffy is coddling Justin as a favor to Usher so he can get more credibility. Really it doesn't matter because Justin is white and white girls (and some black girls) are going to buy his album anyway.
Okay. The word is TRIAL not trail. Sheesh.
Damn Janice Combs is grimey, I wonder if puffy knows about Janice involvement in his father's murder? Than she took up with the killer? Damn that is shady.
I figure piddy was full of shit.why don't he stop with his garbage...
wow....that is crazy ...so y is puffy still relevant...besides dirt money ??? DONT EVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH HIM >>>>>
