Ne-Yo is ready to be a dad, even though his new baby was unexpected.
Soul man NE-YO is convinced he's at the right stage in life to become a father, despite admitting his girlfriend's pregnancy was an unexpected surprise.
The So Sick singer will welcome his first child with Monyetta Shaw later this year (10) and the couple is excited about the new arrival.
He tells Britain's Live From Studio Five, "It feels good. It definitely wasn't something that was planned but I'm 30 years old so it's about that time. I'm really, really happy about it.
Ne-Yo, real name Shafer Smith, has been for several ultrasound scans with Shaw - but the couple is still unaware of the sex of the baby.
He adds, "We don't know. We've been three times (for a scan) so far and everytime we go the baby is all arms, so we don't know!"

of course this shit was planned. He's tired of the gay rumors and figures this gives him an out. I wonder how much she was paid to be a receptacle. Poor baby being brought into this world out of selfishness and not love. Celebrities don't care about nothing, but themselves.
I know there are times that when condoms are used, they do break, but if you have intercourse WITHOUT a condom then you can PLAN to have a child!!
