According to Dutch newser De Telegraaf, Peruvian authorities' case against confessed murderer Joran van der Sloot has ground to a stunning halt.
Proceedings against the Dutch thug, despite a blood-thirty President, have been suspended indefinitely.
Authorities claim they can't find an interpreter to handle the complexities of Spanish-to-Dutch translation and vice versa.
As The ENQUIRER reported previously the Dutchman stands accused of murdering Stephany Flores, 21, the daughter of a prominent Peruvian politico and race car driver.
La Policia Nacional said van der Sloot had admitted killing her -- but now his legal team's claiming the confession was obtained "under duress" and therefore declared "invalid".
Van der Sloot's lawyer complained no interpreter was present when the damning confession was made by his client.
The thug, who is also suspected of running a Thai sex slave ring, remains the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of American teen beauty teenager Natalee Holloway during a school trip to Aruba.
Joran is currently imprisoned in a maximum security Peruvian hellhole Castro Castro.

oh please. If the DEA can find someone to help them translate a non-language such as Ebonics, surely Peru or the US can find someone to translate Dutch to Spanish and vice versa.
